I Did Not Set Out to Write a Book

I set out to write a free guide. Ten pages. Something small to give away in exchange for an email.

Every evening I went to the gym. Then I sat down and wrote until one in the morning. Something happened. I dropped into a flow state I had not felt before. Every page, the question was the same. How do I bring more value?

I added visuals alongside the writing to make the concepts clearer. Simple representations of the brain, the mind, the patterns we get caught in. A visual representation of the practice itself, not just words on a page.

Around page 10, I stopped. This is too good to give away.

Around page 20, I made the decision. I am writing a real book. No publisher. No deadline. No outline. I would keep writing.

Months later, I was still writing. I kept testing every tool against my own life.

The result is 129 pages. The opening and closing are thank yous to my family. Everything in between is tools, practices, and the framework I have used on myself every day for 18 years.
